SURAH AL BAQARAH (2:110).

“Be steadfast in prayer and regular in charity.

Whatever good you send forth for your souls before you, you shall find it with Allah.

For Allah sees well all that you do”

Muhammad The Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam "ﷺ" Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him  - said these things on the reward of Charity

Charity Protects You from the Hellfire

“Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire” (Hadith, Tirmidhi).

“Protect yourself from hell-fire even by giving a piece of date as charity.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Charity prevents calamity

“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

Charity shades you on the day of judgement

“The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity” (Hadith, Tirmidhi).

Charity works after your death

"When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity);

a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."

Charity Increases What Allah (swt) Grants You

“Allah, the Exalted, says, ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
